Snowy Sunday!

We finally got some fresh snow last night, after not having any for 3 weeks!  About 4 inches.  =)  So, so pretty.  I was starting to get bored, of not getting snow!  The driveway needed to be shoveled...it turns out, I like to shovel. =) I'll get my cardio for the day.  Mark decided while I shoveled, he would take Eric a little sledding just around our street.  I think Eric actually liked it this time.  =)  Eric's core is weak and he tires after about 10-15 minutes doing pretty much any outdoor activity.  I was so excited that this time he actually smiled while sledding.  Last time, he didn't like it much.  We will try some sledding hills when he likes it just a little more.  =)

After shoveling, We took Eric, along with our dogs, down to the Marina just to get out of the house a bit.  I have only lived here in Tahoe 5 months and it is still so weird to me that we were at the beach area, and there was snow.  Such a pretty sight.  Different, that's for sure.  I had wished I had my camera.  Darn!  The dogs loved it!  We have 2 shitzus, and Eric just loves them!  Eric did have a hard time walking in the snow since it was like 4-5 inches at lake level.  All he kept saying was "Uuuuu", what he says for Up.  So, after 20 minutes, we went home.  Now we are enjoying the snow, from inside.  =)

    Hi Shauna,

    your blog is awesome and your son is adorable! Im a student at The Univerity of Wisconsin-La Crosse and im going for Therapeutic Recreation. For on of my classes we need to keep a weekly blog and find activities that we would be able to do with our participant. This week i decided on sledding and when i was search for a picture i came across your cutie of a son on the sled, so i was wondering if i could use his picture for my post at all?
